The Alfa Guide Sleeve system provides the critical interface between your digital plan and the clinical reality. Fabricated from medical-grade Titanium, these sleeves ensure the surgical guide remains dimensionally stable throughout the drilling and placement process.

Sleeve Type Breakdown:

  • Full Sleeve: The standard sleeve for fully guided protocols. Designed for use with the complete Alfa Guide drill sequence and implant insertion tools. Includes the signature Hex indicator for precise rotational timing.

  • Narrow Sleeve: Engineered for cases with limited mesiodistal space, such as lower incisors or tight interproximal gaps. Provides the same stability as the full sleeve but with a reduced outer diameter.

  • Open Sleeve: Specifically designed for patients with limited mouth opening, particularly in the molar region. The lateral opening allows for the side-loading of drills and implant mounts when vertical clearance is insufficient.

  • Anchor Sleeve: Used to stabilize the surgical template in edentulous or partially edentulous cases. These sleeves house the Fixation Pins (Anchor Pins) that secure the guide to the alveolar bone.

  • Pilot Drill Sleeve: A specialized sleeve used for "Pilot-Only" guided surgery. It guides the initial osteotomy to ensure correct positioning and angulation before proceeding with freehand drilling.

3. Technical Specifications

  • Material: Medical-grade Titanium.

  • Rotational Control: Hexagonal markers on Full and Narrow sleeves.

  • Internal Connection: Precision-milled to match Alfa Guide drill keys and stops.

  • Application: To be bonded into 3D-printed or milled surgical templates.

4. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. When should I use an Open Sleeve? Open sleeves are essential for posterior sites where the patient cannot open wide enough to accommodate the full height of a standard guided drill and sleeve.

2. Does the Narrow Sleeve support implant insertion? Yes, the Narrow Sleeve is designed to support both guided drilling and implant insertion, provided the corresponding narrow guide keys and mounts are used.

3. What is the difference between an Anchor Sleeve and a Pilot Sleeve? An Anchor Sleeve is for securing the guide to the bone using pins, while a Pilot Sleeve is specifically for guiding the first drill bit of the surgery.
